Hi! My name’s Paul, thanks for visiting my website.

I’m not a sleep doctor, I don’t have any academic qualifications relating to sleep or anything like that. What I am is a self taught ex-insomniac.

I suffered with insomnia for over 15 years. From childhood, to being a teenager to going into adulthood. Insomnia effected me in every area of my life. I felt helpless to stop it but I knew I had to do something.

So I did what most people do with insomnia, took medication. That didn’t work. In fact they made me feel even worse.

The medical profession didn’t seem much help. If I listened to them, I would be popping pills each night to get to sleep. That didn’t seem like the right solution.

So then I tried out a few products aimed at promoting sleep such as hypnosis. Some products worked pretty well, but somehow my insomnia just wouldn’t go away. They just weren’t enough to tackle the problem by themselves.

I finally decided enough was enough. I would find a cure for my insomnia no matter what. I didn’t care how long it took, as long as I could be free from the claws of insomnia.

So I did what any self respecting student would have done. I read. Lots and lots. Books, research papers, anything. I dedicated every waking energy I had to finding a cure for my insomnia.

Over the next few weeks, my sleep started to improve. Even people around me started to notice a difference. A few months later, my insomnia had pretty much disappeared. A year later, I can honestly say my insomnia is a thing of the past.

I believe anyone can cure their own insomnia given the right help. I created Sleep For All to share what I’ve learnt about sleep and insomnia with the hope that what helped me will also help you to.

When you get into it, sleep is a fascinating subject. So now, although I don’t have any sleep problems any more, I still find myself enjoying learning new things and my sleep has improved even more since.

I’m constantly redefining my advice with the new stuff I learn. Some of the articles on my website are on their 10th revision and there will probably be a lot more revisions to come!
